Security measures that need to be taken when use an Internet browser

• We can use secured windows for using personal accounts. Private browsing allows the user to use the internet without saving any information about which sites and pages user visited.

            In Mozilla Firefox, we can use private window to sign in our personal accounts.

            In Google chrome, we can use incognito window.

             E.g.  : money transections , personal accounts, emails

• We should check whether the URL is https (hypertext transfer protocol secure) or not.

            It safes the data between sender and recipient.

• We should create secure password for private accounts.

• It must be contain at least 8 characters.
• It should contain capital and small letters, numbers and symbols.
• It should not contain any personal details related to the user.
• We can create passphrase for secure password. It is easy to remember and impossible to find by others.

• We should not save our passwords in public computers.Through this other users can easily get our user name and password and access our account.We can use master password to protect saved passwords.
